VCI Global joined 330 volunteers at Beach Clean-Up 3.0 organized by Metrics Global Sdn Bhd and Reef Check Malaysia at Pantai Kelanang, Banting on 20 September 2025. The 28 VCI Global volunteers contributed to removing nearly 500 kilograms of trash, collecting 6,359 items along the coastline. Using the Clean Swell mobile app, participants recorded that cigarette butts, plastic fragments, and plastic bags were the top three pollutants.

Following the cleanup, volunteers participated in sustainability workshops including jelly bag making, DIY sea creature bottles, and creating pouches from plastic waste. Educational sessions introduced reef-safe sunscreen and recycling challenges to demonstrate how waste can be reshaped into purpose. This event reinforced the importance of community-driven action against single-use plastic and everyday waste pollution.
